Thanks, vix06 Antrieb 11-06-2006, 04:03 PM Where in NY are you? ehlpitel 11-06-2006, 04:28 PM Bear mountain, seven lakes. vix06 11-06-2006, 05:16 PM I am in weschester county. chackoc 11-06-2006, 06:22 PM I've only lived and worked in the Greenwich area a short time, so the extent of my experience is limited to the immediately surrounding areas. There are some nice roads north of the Merrit around Greenwich, Stamford, etc. If you're interested in a driving weekend, taking 7 north into the Berkshires in western MA is excellent. There are a LOT of nice roads in and around the Berkshires. Out of your way if you're in western Wetchester County though. If you don't mind more populated residential areas (relative to SW CT) there are some interesting roads in the Pleasantville - North Castle - Bedford area. I'm curious to see where other people recommend. G.J. Dixon 11-06-2006, 07:19 PM I'm also in Westchester. There are a lot of really great roads in the area. For some ideas and interesting stories, check out the "Best Road/Drive Stories in the Tri-State area" on the NY BMW Club's website Direct link: http://nybmwcca.org/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=19&t=102& jsedlak 11-07-2006, 01:55 AM Bear Mountain has some good spots. If you do not mind traveling a bit and spending the day behind the wheel feel free to drive the Numassmontring. It is a giant loop (200+ miles) of country roads sweeping through upstate new york, massasucketts and vermont. Check us out at http://nmmr.org! We will have one more drive this year too before the snow sets in. vix06 11-07-2006, 12:44 PM Thanks guys! Can't wait to get my car. EDA 15th Dec.
