I'm the high bidder so far on the M5 back bumper. I just picked up a set of staggered M5 T-Stars off ebay for a good price. Now have to wait for them to get here safely. Hope to have the old Touring looking pretty good soon. Actually I'm also the high bidder on the interior too. Will look great in my dove grey 540i.

I'm the high bidder so far on the M5 back bumper. I've got $xxx set aside for M5 bumpers (each end) and just picked up a set of staggered M5 T-Stars off ebay for a good price. Now have to wait for them to get here safely. Hope to have the old Touring looking pretty good soon. Actually I'm also the high bidder on the interior too and might go to $xxx on that. Will look great in my dove grey 540i.

Why would you tell everyone on an E34 forum, where everyone wants the same stuff, that you're the top bidder and what your max bid is? Be careful.

Everyone knows about this stuff already so it doesn't make much difference. If someone wants it worse than me then they're entitled to bid on it. There's always more available out there it just takes a little research. Besides, ebay isn't a buyers market like it once was. Now it's a sellers market. Not many good deals left so you have to sort through the garbage pretty carefully. For example; these T-Stars just sold for $1200.

I just bought these T-stars for a bit less and they're staggered. Even with the shipping still cheaper.

So, if I win the M5 back bumper great, if I don't it's not the end of the world. There's still more out there. :stickoutt

Healthy attitude Paul, just didn't want you to lose out on what you wanted :) I even censored your amounts in my response, should you want to erase them.

Well I got beat out on the M5 rear bumper yesterday but got a second chance offer today because the winner had no money. What a shame. :redspot Also made a deal on the side panels while we were on the phone. Here's the plan, I'm going to keep the Beige color just because it's too much of a hassle to repaint inside the door jams and around the engine but I'm going to trim the bottom of the back bumper in silver and leave the side panels silver too. When I do the repaint next spring, and if I haven't found a M5 front bumper by then, I'll just repaint all of the stock front bumper Beige except for the lower two inches and paint that silver. 50/50. From fifty feet and fifty mph maybe it'll pass muster. :)

Awesome. Just make it look OEM and you're golden.

Don't take that second chance offer unless it is verified through your ebay account!!! Those have been popping up a lot lately as scams. If you got an email AND a message from ebay, then supposedly it is legit. Sounds like you guys might know this person, but unless you have seen them in person you really shouldn't trust them.
