Those of you with CAI's behind your front bumpers need to be careful of the huge puddles throughout the city. Most of the fire departments are out in an attempt to unclog the drains but they're not able to keep up with the downpour. A few of the stores near 16th and Broadway have water inside and the rain isn't letting up at all.

Sidenote: Did anyone feel anything around 9:39pm? My building is pretty large but the whole thing shook for 5-10 seconds. It was probably just a strong gust of wind but I've never felt it shake like that before.

my friend is a fire fighter in woodland and gets beeper messages with ever call whether he is on the clock or not and he said today alone there have been 4 accidents on I-5 in one small strip over woodland. in the fast lane water pools up and at that speed people wipe out and wreck.

last night was a nightmare. LOTS of SE Portland was too deep for me and my cai. i almost caused i huge accident when i slammed the brakes as i was going to turn onto the ross island bridge and found a lake in front of me. bad times.

note - this is my first rainy season with the LSD on.....HUGE improvement on stability. I'm actually able to drive in the rain without fearing for my life!

I havent either in the past 2 years...but every road wasnt covered in 2 feet of standing water.

Hard rains came at the worst possible time. All the leaves from the trees clogged every drain and the rain wont stop. Basically, that means we have swimming pools everywhere. Stupid arizona sell out, leave this board!

Fuck all y'all, get outta my thread Matt :finger22 ;)

Seth was saying he's keeping his 5'er, mine's still for sale. There's no way I'm plowing through any water with that intake on there, it's right under the front bumper.

Good to hear though Seth, what're your plans for it?

I do, this 1.8 liter is BLA, but I know if I had a Supercharger or a V6/8 I would for sure total my car...lol I have a led foot. Like on my way home from work, I decided to drift around a corner (1am)...I did, but it was crap... Fun none the less.

Anyway I am done rambling on...

Good point. I didn't realize you drove like an idiot on the street. Seriously man, 90 in the rain? :confused Be safe man! Save it for the track!

Oh, who knows. Just replaced all the bushings/control arms/ball joints, putting a 4-spoke M3 steering wheel in today... re-building my extra motor soon. That's the point where I'm not sure where everything will go. I'm really thinking about doing a full rebuild of the car. They are classic!
