1985 BMW 325e
Manual trans
$850
Car does not currently run. I was originally told that all it needed was the second fuel pump under the car by the driver's side rear tire. I replaced that pump but still doesn't start. I dont really know whats wrong with it as I'm not a mechanic. The engine turns but does not start.
The body has 22X,XXX miles on it. It has had a motor swap done to it. I'm not sure if it is the same 2.7 or if it was upgraded to the 325i engine. I have no idea. I have an extra intake manifold, oil pan, and ecu so I dont doubt that it was swapped. I was told it only had 55k miles on the newer engine, but I highly doubt that cause there are no reciepts.
The good and the bad:
Good stuff:
Manual Trans
2 door coupe
Sunroof and power windows work
Lights work
Body is straight (1 small dent under passenger side tail light)
3 spoke BMW steering wheel
Bad stuff:
Doesn't run
Rust on front fenders, hood, and sunroof, slight rust around rear fenders.
Driver's seat does not recline forward
Driver's seat has tears
No stereo
Keyhole on trunk is missing (you can still close the trunk and open it, you just stick a finger in the hole and push the trigger)
I was planning on fixing this car up for a daily driver to save money on gas and have fun with it. Unfortunaley I dont have the know-how to get it running. Could be something very easy, could be something hard, not really sure. I need to get it out of the garage because my father is getting upset that I am taking all of the garage space and its getting cold outside.
