http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E36-328i-M3-3-2L-performance-intake-manifold_W0QQitemZ290045279144QQihZ019QQcategoryZ4 6098QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphot ohosting.....this is exactly what my m50 manifold looks like....for one the diy says about plugging a hole....mine doesnt seem to have that hole.....second....there seems to be quite a few hoses to deal with and i only have the hole in back of where the throtle body connects....the one with the 3/4" L shaped hoses coming from the top of the manifold in the pic...and the small 3/16" ( i guess) coming from the the far end.....i just guess im looking for a hose by hose connection/pic breakdown..the write ups are kinda like do these few hoses and then these and then that and ur done...sorry i never had a problem figuring things out...but im just lost with this one...

The hole that needs to be plugged on your manifold has the OBD-I IAT sensor in it. Just leave it in there to plug the hole, but you're not going to use it.

There are 3 vac hoses that need to be hooked up. There are only 2 places to hook them up. One is on the main connector that goes to the center of the manifold behind the TB, and the other is at the back of the manifold next to the OBD-I IAT sensor. You'll need to "T" 2 of them together and run one alone. I would suggest running the vac line to the FPR as the one to be by itself. It's the hose that runs down the back of the motor to under the car.

what has to be done with the hose coming from the round thing behind the bake fluid container.....i now see the 3 vaccum hoses 3/16 -3/16- 3/8 (coming from below which runs in a hard blue plastic hose). the last two open ends are coming from the small silver can...one...there is an opening right off the can and the other has a black hose the loops around. now for my manifold i have the openings on the front (has L shaped hosing coming off it now)and back(opposite of throtle body) plus a smaller one which has a small hose coming off of it ...what goes there? if anyone has or could make a diagram with what hoses need to be connected together and what hole in the manifold they go into thatd be great...i just feel so unsure about this and dont want to damage my car...thanks again

Red Circle goes to Fuel Pressure Regulator that is at the back of the motor that goes under the car. The blue line you're thinking should be tee'd with the last vac hose.

Green Circle goes to brake booster. The stock OBD-II hose fits on there.

The Blue Circle has a port on it for the 2 vac hoses.
