For those interested, I have added the following to the site:

ESP (DSC) - Electronic Stability Control

And in the download section a great paper of AWD and dynamic control.

Below is a link to a personal website I created on brake systems. I'm not a vendor, so I'm not selling anything. Site has no pop-ups or cookies. Created the site just for the heck of it to see what it took to do it. And since I love cars and I have experience with brakes, I figured brakes was the best subject.

I thought some here might find it a little useful.

Hey great site!

I spent the good part of yesterday reading the info you've posted.
I've been doing some brake homework lately but not sure as what to do after reading the ABS guide....It looks like I will end up doing pads/rotors soon and hopefully disengaging the ABS system (if this is even possible =P) haha

Well, leme know what you think. I'm looking into getting the ATE slotted brakes with EBC greenstuff pads.

Thanks again!

You can disconnect the ABS just by removing the fuse or pulling the ECU connector on the ABS unit.

You will however always have the ABS light on.

EBC pads seem to work great with EBC rotors. But every time I hear from some one with EBC pads on non-EBC rotors they always have problems with pad transfer and built up on the rotor. This causes vibration and noise.

I would suggest instead Axxis Ultimates, Hawk HP Plus or Pagid Blue pads. Or order the EBC slotted rotors.

Hmm...ok very interesting.
I haven't heard that about EBC's yet. It looks like I'm going to be doing some more asking around. Thanks for the input! We actually changed the pads on my friend's GSX over to the Hawk HP Plus and I was very satisfied! they were awesome. But they tend to make noise at low speed stops.
