When I park, shut off the car and open the drivers door, only the drivers door unlocks. Is there anyway to have all 4 doors unlock when I open the drivers door without hitting the lock/unlock button on the dash? My second question is when I shut down the car, the I-drive screen stays on. If I hit the start/stop button again it goes off. (The car does has comfort access)The dealer looked at me like I was crazy and said "it's set up that way from the factory" when I asked these questions. Thanks!!

Im sure the e60 is like the last generataion BMW models that have car & key memory features that can be turned off and on by the dealer using the BMW DIS or MoDiC units.
If you purchased a brand new car...instead of looking at you funny when you inquired about certain things...your dealer should have handed you the list of options to look over. Yes, there is a "default" of features that are turned on...but you should be able to change them.
I don't have any info about the new BMWs (like the E60/E65/E66) but I can link you to the 7 page form for the e39/e38/e53/e46 etc...this will give you an idea of what can be shut off or turned on....go back to your dealer and inquire for the new form for your car so you can make the decision for yourself: http://www.e38.org/B090398_Att2_CKMSet.PDF

You can actually set this your self on your e60 by going threw your I-drive. If your salesman didn't teach you this, you should go back and have him go over the I-drive with you again. This is part of his job when he sells you the car.
