so last night i heard two "bang! bang!" sounds and I ran out to see two kids running off. this morning I noticed that my garage door had pomegranate stains and where the fruits landed on the concrete floor were some other stains too. i think it stained into the wood so I'll probably have to repaint my garage door. but the stains in the concrete won't come out. I've used some heavy duty concrete cleaner I usually use for grease and oil stains; doesn't do a whole lot for the fruit stains.

any suggestions on how to clean these stains out?

I would try sprinkling some scouring powder that contains bleach on the stains and then wetting it to a paste with water and scrubbing it with a nylon bristle brush. You can add a little liquid dishwashing soap to it as well to give it extra umph. I've used that combination on concrete and it cleans it well. Something about the dishwashing liquid soap and the bleach combination really kicks butt. This is unpainted concrete I assume?

Concur - bleach does a terrific job. We have some kitchen spray cleaner that is basically bleach and some smell-good stuff in a spray bottle and it has taken off all kinds of staining on concrete.

Tree leaves, fruit, berries... when they sit on the concrete and the sprinklers go, they stain and nothing was taking it off. Sprayed enough to wet it, left it on for about 5 mins and voila! All gone!
