Hey everyone
Instead of reviving my other thread I decided to make a new one. Just wanted to let everyone know that I am going ahead with running my car tomorrow at my school's autocross. I replaced my bad injector line tonight and reset the valve clearances, checked for leaks and had none so I think it will make it! I dont plan on pushing the car too hard at first, but I will steadily increase the intensity as i havent really had much driving experience with the car. While shaking it down tonight I noticed a little clunk in the rear while taking a turn at a higher speed...could it be bad bushings? Anyways, hopefully within the next week or so I'll have pics and/or videos up!

Clunk in ther rear is usually due to bad sub-frame bushings. A quick job, for what I remember. And check CJ's how-to about using urethane to fill the old bushings.

Alright, i rememeber seeing those bushing tutorials a while back. Anyways, i took the car out today...man is it a blast to drive. It definately was slower than my truck but i didnt have a problem with the car understeering at all. The backend broke loose a few times, the first few times out, and yeah one time it was pretty freaky. I was just using regular road tires, but it still gripped well. Pretty good to get a baseline run though. The times in the car were not really competitive, but for the first time out it was good to get to know the car, and after i drive it for a while autox will turn out better. I will be uploading a video or two here this week, but here are some pics:
