The previous owner of my car had a lojack unit installed in it. When I originally bought the car I paid lojack like $50 to run a series of tests on teh unit and update their info on the car to my name.


Well, I got a call today from LoJack saying the unit is "malfunctioning"


Of course, they want more money from me to come out and diagnose the problem.
Screw that. Where is the lojack transponder located. I'll fix the damn thing myself. ;)

just call them back, tell them you would like to uninstall the system yourself and need the location.

My lojack was mounted under the rear seat in my e36 vert. It's a 2"x5" box with a power and coax jacks.
