So im heading over to a friends house with another friend, and i see an e30 bmw turn down the same road as me. I begin to speed up to catch it when i remember that i have someone following me and i cant loose her. around a mile down the road I am able to pull up next to him at a red light (cornhusker for locals). I look over and see that its a 325i coupe. so i look over at him and he gives me a nod and a wave, i do the same.
So the light goes green and i dont launch because i dont know if hes gunna race me, then i see his nose try to get in front of me at which point i burry the gas. I quickly jump out a cl in front, but to my suprise thats all the further back he droped. I might have been pulling slowly if at all. At the end of third i shut it down, and my friend riding with me yells, "And thats a cop". Coming at us on the other side of the road and at which point i freak. The 325 pulls ahead not seeing the cop yet and then tucks infront of me. we both lightly hit the breaks and to my suprise the cop just keeps goin. :alright I guess we both got off pretty lucky. It was a tan e30. If your on here i wanna here from you. That was a good run.

I agree....the e30 is faster than u may think...sure the 328i has more power but its also a good 250-350lbs heavier than the e30...I think with some light mods to the m20 and weight reduction you can bring the e30 performance on par with an e36...nice kill btw sux it was an e30 though :)

Nice run, I'm told the e30 325i is actually faster than a e36 325i but I have no experience to back that up. I'm a little suprized you didn't pull a bit.
