do you know jon with the black sti?
i think he does the publicity for the club. if you do tell him jennie's ex bf says wassup
is imports@ucsd as retarded as imports@uci
if so i will pass...
eneyeengee 11-02-2006, 04:57 AM yeah jon is publicity for our club.
the only way we are related to imports@uci is through the name, we wanted to change it because it sounds too rice. Our organization is more oriented toward the track, autox and performance aspect of cars.
sideshow 11-02-2006, 06:18 AM David,
Here's my vision for my car show entry: Since my car isn't really all that showy, I was thinking of making an entry into the not-yet-created "best stock looking silver 95 m3 daily driver" category. I would take some nice blue tape and make nice little blue arrows which would have paper attachments documenting when and why I have all these dents and dings in my car. Anyway, I'll definitely check it out if I happen to be down there on the 13th. I have a few friends that could probably win the "best use of bondo" category too if you make one of those.
good luck with the event
JOEY

I am glad to hear this, because the last imports@uci meet I went to made me absolutely sick

I've only been to a couple of the events and nah it's not like that...more discreet egos at UCSD hehehe. I don't know about the governing body of imports@uci, but David, Mike, and some of the other guys are real down to earth. There's the "STI gods" and a 350z in there that I'm not so sure about, but I think that the girl with the Elise sets the example for all in terms of modesty. Is this semi-accurate David? Anyone who's interested and in the area should check it out.

The fact that UCI's bmw crowd has a weekly car meet (see the UCI weekly meet thread) pretty much proves imports@uci sucks...
eneyeengee 11-03-2006, 06:20 AM definately correct joey. We are a car club, but we dont have meetings every week. We will occassionally go out to get boba, or what not, but its not a weekly event. We want to promote the car community as a whole, and we try to do so, but going to drift shows, car shows, drag days, track days, autox days as well as photoshoot days (we all love pictures of cars). We welcome domestics, japanese, european, as well as any other brands out there.
