The Smoky Mountain BMWCCA is again sponsoring a scenic drive through
the East Tennessee mountains this year. We have not had a drive in a
while on the Dragon because of the increased traffic. However, we've
found a brand new place!

Come join us on Saturday, November 11 at 9:00AM. We will meet at the
Kroger's parking lot on Northshore Drive at Pellissippi Parkway
(I-140). We will do the drive and then continue into Oak Ridge for
lunch at Big Ed's Pizza, some of the best pizza in the area.

The Dragon has 318 curves in 11 miles. Our new drive has 115 curves
in 6.25 miles. Just as fun; not as crowded.

Four of us form teh Z3 page were just up there this weekend and it was great. good weather and road conditions and hardly anyone there. should be good for ya'll if the weather cooperates. have fun.

bump, just a reminder any of you guys driving up with us from chattanooga, we are leaving at 7:30, so plan to meet around 7:15ish at the Bilo off exit 11(75 north)

looks like only a 40% chance, and not moving in till 9-10 a.m. so maybe we'll miss it. Unless the forecast changes I'm still planning on driving up.

Ya that's correct CJ, we just need to leave no latter then 7:30, I plan to get there around 7:15 or so. That will give us time to stop for gas before we meet the knoxville group

As far as I know the Chatta troop will be up !! We'll make desicions about the rest at Kroger .... The storms don't look too bad but wet roads are a damper...
