anyone have detailed instructions on how to remove/install the overhead console that has homelink, sunroof switch, map lights etc. removed mine to find out whats rattling and i have a silver piece left over. its t shaped and has 2 holes in it.driving me crazy trying to figure out where it goes. 2004 x5 4.4 regular sunroof.

if everything is working ok and your rattle is gone leave it out. Not sure what it is I have never seen it before.
