Can anyone recommend a good supercharger installer in the NY area?
Thanks in advance.

Ronzo,
NY is just up the road from VAC Motorsports in Philly. They did my ESS system, & will be replacing that w/ an intercooled Vortech V2SQ.
They do custom stuff too...they are doing a SC Subaru rally car right now.
It may be farther than you had hoped, but they know how to handle a wrench.

Perhaps you should give them a call...
VAC Motorsports (http://vacmotorsports.com/)

Cheers

Call George at Import Cars of Stamford. He's an authorized AA installer, but he does superchargers too. Good guy. Tell him I sent you.

I'm not sure where in CT they are, but Last Minute Racing is supposed to be pretty good as well...

Hmmm, I don't have first hand experience with these guys, but I've heard some horror stories....ask around some more. To each their own though, they're certainly out there and capable of doing a SC install.... :dunno

Yeah, and Dave knows his stuff.... But he won't install a supercharger other than a Dinan unit purchased through him... Well he might install a used dinan unit, but he told me point blank, he will not install another system.... Conflict of interest I guess, seeing as he's the dinan dealer with the highest volume in the country!

I can also recommend Curry's Auto Service in VA. they have installed several of our kits and done an excellent job. Last Minute Racing has installed many of our kits as well and most customers have reported a very good experience!

Word up! But I'm not about bashing or badmouthing one tuner or vendor, or another..... I'm just giving an honest heads-up about what i've heard...and beyond that everyone needs to draw their own conclusions. Hey, to some LMR may be the greatest shop in the world! :dunno
