I was wondering if anyone else had some maintenance stuff to do before the PDX/SEA meet?

Last PDX meet it looked like a few of us where trying to get things done before the meet. So I was thinking maybe we could get together and help each other out on a weekend (sat and sun if needed).

Right now I wanted to see if anyone was intrested? :shifty

Translation:

"I need help doing some things. Who here can give me free labor?"

Haha, just kidding man. I need someone to do my powerflex bushings for me. ;)

Maybe we could host. I'll talk to Eddie, but I have no problem hanging out here on a saturday so you have a dry place to work on your cars. Lifts would be available! You'll have to bring your own tools unless you have worked something out with us, but air would be available. If this is of interest, I will get see if it works.

Of course. Shoot me a pm, or call me if you have time, so I can figure out what route you want to go. I can have a quote ready for you by the end of the day once I have some info from you.

I think this is a great idea my car is running pretty good right now but I know how it is when it's not and you want to be somewhere for something and sometimes it is just a nice lift that is needed to get underneath and tighten loose bolt or something so kudo's my friend hell of an idea maybe we would get a few more people to show up that would have skipped the run cause their car wasn't working

UPDATED

When I remote lock my car all the doors lock but the drivers door. I can set the alarm with no issue, but you can still open the door (however even tho its unlocked the alarm will still go off) So what I have to do is lock the car using the remote, then put the key in and lock the drivers door...then set the alarm. I hope this is a easy fix.

Also my other door does not shut easy, you have to slam it to get to to fully shut... I think something is bent, but IDK.

The only maintenance I need is to fix my damn windows that won't go all the way up automatically (i think motors are going bad)....

Thats a cool idea. When I bought the car, I was planning on replacing the water pump and thermostat myself. Then, I unexpectedly had to move accross the country and now I have no place to work on it. A local shop quoted me $650 to do the work :(

Well lets start a list with what you got, the time it will take, and tools if needed.

1. abbot555- O2 sensor and fuel filter, about an hour with help? I will need tools.

if my car is up and running, I'll atleast stop by and hang out, maybe help turn a wrench or two. I have a few small projects I need to work on myself, all visual tho.

Wow Seth, thats an amazing offer! There is a few things I wouldnt mind getting done on my car, and having a lift would make things a cake walk.

If this is going down, shoot me a date and I'll see what my schedule looks like.

^^Well right now we are seeing if there is an intrest for this, so add to the list. If there is enough people Seth was going to ask Eddie, it would have to be on the weekend before the meet on the 11th.

Let me know sooner rather than later if you guys are wanting to do this. Just need to make sure we are good to go on our end if this is on.

I haven't heard anything so I have assumed we aren't having one. We are hosting a detail day at the shop this saturday though. I'll post more details once I know the specific times. But, I can say that there will be some VERY nice cars here! Cough*430*cough*

Yeah, I tried to make a list but no one posted :( Guess no one has any maintenance to do, which is a good thing :)

Let me know about when the detail day is, I will go for sure! I need to learn more, I have done my car and a friends car only.

Not to worry Steveo, I'll keep lots of fun stuff going on at the shop! I still think we need to have a little GT4 challenge some day.
