I used to live, in Crofton (small town in the northeast part) Joined the army now in Fort Knox, ky. I am transferring to Fort Riley,ks in Feb. to finish my enlistment, and then I'm going to move to Omaha or lincoln after that.

To make a long story short, I was driving to fast on a winding road that was wet lost it at a curve, and rolled it over an embankment. I only had liability, so now I'm looking for a new TI. I'm hoping to find one cheap that needs an engine, and just use the enine out of the one I have now.

That depends on what your MVR has on it and how long ago that accident was. It is a possibility though. Rates are just plain high for everyone right now. The market has made my job really suck lately.

das - Armen told me your car got hit. What happened? Is it fixable? We need to get together sometime. I was over at Armen's last Sat. and saw your wife drive by. We found the knocking noise to be the exhaust was shifted over to far so we loosened it all up and shifted it back and now it is as good as new.

fixable: yes. have no idea what I'm going to do with it or when. it happened in the lot at the office, I walked out to the car one day and there it was: dent the size of the whole door! its a sore subject though, so I'm moving on.

good news on the knocking, I think I was with the wife when we saw you guys working.... tell armen he needs more lights in his garage! :D:D

I would say it was good news since it was free to fix. You've seen the new set up I take it with the lights? I was helping him put them up and he cut his hand pretty good, but it is worth it when it comes to working on cars. :)

road rally to/through the black hills in October, Driving School in Aug. CCA Pool Party in August, Wine Tasting in October (guess you're out on that one).

Otherwise, its too hot for tech-sessions, and you just missed the monthly social gathering for the CCA as well.

there are two NE crowds on bf.c... a group of us primarily from lincoln who are all 23-30 and do a lot of wrenching and social stuff, and the club crowd.

My wife is Candy. She also races. I am assuming you are talking about Hinchcliff. At one time all of us were running in the same race group. Natha and Jeff in T1 in two yellow Z06 and either Candy or myself in our then SSC Neon (we share the car). Natha's hubby is John. He drives a 944 Turbo in ITE. Candy and I now run in that race group since our car is now in ITA.

We are glad that Jeff is learning how to play nice in traffic. Candy has a tale to tell about his driving early last year. (It cost her a chance at a class win) Now if he would only quit doing donuts at DE's!! (btw... I thought Natha pulled his instructor card for that)

lol hes a fun kid though! Thats why hes my bestfriend. He really has came around this year since lastyear. More of a driver than last, and since they have got the car figured out a little better he can focus on the driving part.

got the springs in about an hour and half...really simple...had my bro help with the rears but otherwise it was cake ...must be cause ive wrenched on practically every car ive owned and friends/family..so that helps! she definetly needs an alignment though..the wheel is shakin a bit

Apologies for not updating anyone about working at the DE but like S. said, I hadn't heard anything from any PCA member. I sent a few emails and after not getting any replies I just assumed that they didn't need any help. I should have sent you guy an email or something letting you know.

I have been pretty busy at work lately and couldn't make it out to the DE this weekend. Been a bad summer for me to do much extracurricular. I wanted to see S. and Gary E30-up and blow the doors off the Ferrari! (assuming he was an advanced student/instructor)

Hello Nebraska BMW owners,

I'm new to these forums and have been considering making the move into a E36 M3 sedan.

I would love the chance to meet up with a few of the local (Omaha, Lincoln, Gretna, etc.) owners who happen to have an E36 chassis M3. obviously the later years would be best and a sedan a bounus, but any 95-99 would suffice. I'd just like a chance to check them out in person as I haven't seen any for sale in the area for a while and to ask a few other questions that I'm unable to find the answers here or through other online resources.

I'm good friends with a couple guys near KC with E30 M3's, but don't know any E36 owners.

I'm free this Saturday or could make other arrangements. Would appreciate the chance to meet a few of you. I know there is one E36 M3 at the local solo II events in STU class, but I have been so busy this year dialing in an autocross car for nationals that I co-drove that I haven't had a chance to relax and go talk to him.

All help greatly appreciated.

We have a '95 M3 here at Markel with only 61,000 miles on it. It's black on black with BBS wheels. Real clean car. Shoot me a PM or feel free to stop by to see it in person.

I may swing by and check it out. We'll see. Would still like a sedan, but a 95 has some advantages for what I want to use it for.

Indi Soesilo is the guy who autocrosses (seen his name in the NRSCCA results (http://www.nrscca.com/results/2005ResultsIndex.php) before). Still need to just go and introduce myself... Won't be able to make the next event. Hopefully we can add an October one to the calendar.

drive went well-enough, not bad, but I think I've got to de-coke the crankcase and injectors both... doubt I will have a chance before I leave though.

tires are OK, I may move the front sway bar back to full soft to get some more oversteer. or just crank teh tire pressure in the rear.

no where local does much performance oriented except Central Bimmers and KR performance...

Yeah there will still be the carshow going on over at flash backs/rush st.

I'd be interested in getting together, but the wife has volley ball tonight so I've got to watch my son. You'd be welcome to stop by my house on your way home to Lincoln if you want. I'm barely out of the way since I'm on the south end of Gretna, just off I-80.

My buddy Jay just had an entire install done on his E46 M3 there.

If you go to inphase. Request your work to be done by Kevin Banaszak. He is by far the most talented tech there. He knows his stuff and does top quality work. Lots of years of experience too.

He is the one who did it.

Well me and a few friends tore some things apart yesterday and think its the fuel pump because we dont hear any humming coming from it. Just a question, which relay exactly is the fuel pump relay? ive been told 3 different things and want to make sure that i have it all set up right.

I wont be able to work on it around lunch time tomorrow I have to work but if you want to come help ill probably b.e working on it sometime in the next few days and it would be appreciated

Anyone done a m50 intake manifold swap? I have one on the way along with AA track pipe and UUC exhaust so i might have a tech session with beer and pizza if anyone wants to come lend a hand..

There are several DIY pages for the M50 swap all over the internet... they will tell you what you need.

and as for a tech session... should be able to be arranged... just need to insure you have everything first.
