hi guys

I will be refinishing a set of 3-piece 18x8 wheels over the winter. I want to replace the lips with Kodiak stepped lips and I would like to go wider in the rear and run 18x9's (or maybe just 1/2 inch bigger to 8.5's). The offset is et38 for the 18x8 wheels. If I add 1 inch to the lip of the wheel, how much will my offset change?

What size tire do you guys suggest I run with this setup, front (18x8) and back (18x9)?
I plan on rolling my fenders to run this setup, do you think it will take more than that?

thanks a lot

Also meant to ask what type of silicon is best for sealing 3-piece wheels when putting them back together?

You can buy expensive sealants OR just use regular RTV silicon from Walmart. It is in a white bottle. It is what I have always used.

Your offset will be + 25.3 about

Thanks for responding Karl. Im guessing you have to use a large amount of silicone to get a good seal all the way around on all 4 wheels right?

Also, at et 25.3 like you said on the 18x9 wheels, how do you think fitment is going to be? Will rolled fenders be enough? What size tire do you think would be best, I will probably want as much rubber on them as I can squeeze in there.
