I've been so lucky at the wreckers the past few months. Found some BBS wheels, an LSD and today I found a BBS front spoiler in pretty good condition, no cracks and the paint matches my car for only $37. :buttrock

Sometimes, life is good.

Okay, the BBS wheels came from Centre Road Wreckers in Springvale, 1602 Centre Rd. They came off an E30 and I thought I'd get them to work but gave up and sold them.

The LSD came from Jolly's Wrecking in Dandenong, paid $78 for it. I'm waiting to replace the bearings in it before I install it. Probably doesn't need it but I'm doing it anyway.

The spoiler I picked up at Pick-a-Part in Kilsyth.

I only tend to use the self-serve wreckers because they're the only place where you'll get good prices. I got a fuel distributor from one place for $30 and another charged me $15. Most of the K-Jet stuff they don't have a clue on.

I'm in the eastern suburbs. The BMW specialist wreckers that I know of are ASV European Auto Spares (http://www.asv.com.au), who have branches on the east coast; Penisula BM (http://www.peninsulabm.com/) in Mornington; BM Spares in Dandenong; BM's R Us (http://www.bmsrus.netfirms.com/page1.html) in Reservoir; BM Only (http://www.berrymotorgroup.com.au/) in Mitcham (I bought a diff from them because mine was shot when I first got the car). E21 specific wreckers I don't know. I've just had to perservere, I've been looking for an LSD for 2 years, as well as the spoiler.

I could've told you where to get an LSD & BBS Bar, but not that cheap though!!

My BBS was $140 ish and was in good condition. Just had a crap load of paint on it.

I'm familiar with all those yards you mentioned, just never needed to look, but you got some great buys there - congrats! :cool

I know Dean and Heath and Peninsula BM pretty well. Go down there every now and then for bits and pieces, but not regularly as I don't need anything.

PS Greg, you a member on www.eurocca.net ?? There is a small cruise Nov 11. Come down, you're most welcome.

PPS On parts....Got some urethane bushings in the mail from JBob today!! Thanks fella :alright

I have urethane steering rack busings on the way from BavAuto.

I had a cursory glance at eurocca but haven't looked at it in depth. Have to make a journey back over there.
