Any tips would help me too. Robert Venable 10-30-2006, 11:20 PM Is this an e46 complaint or an e36 complaint?? kpytoi9 10-30-2006, 11:23 PM its an e46 complaint....02 325ci to be exact Critter7r 10-31-2006, 03:29 PM The cable for the outer handle has either worn to the point of no use, or broken completely. At the very least, you'll need to remove the door panel and find out which. And keep your latches lubed in the future! This is commonly overlooked, and important to keep on top of in the coupes especially. kpytoi9 10-31-2006, 05:00 PM would this be something that is covered under the CPO agreement from BMW? If not, which parts would I need to repair this and how hard is it to do it? Robert Venable 10-31-2006, 11:03 PM Not sure, but it might. You should visit your dealership and ask them. To fix the cable it's fairly easy, if it's an actuator it's kinda a pain and alot more work. If it;s only the cable then you could simply remove your door panel, vapor barrier partially, and detach the cable from the actuator and reinstal. Critter7r 11-01-2006, 03:11 PM Whether it's the cable or the actuator, it should be covered by CPO. |
