That car is just crying for a wider rear fender and deeper offset rear wheels.

The front looks like a pitbull, and the rear looks like a schnoodle with its tail tucked between her legs.

Let me tell you:
M3-specific mirrors, skirts, bumpers, side gills, rear lip spoiler and hood.
The chrome-tipped quad exhaust is a final product.

The wider fenders are clearly M3-specific and final. Its obvious from the pics that there is no room for a significant difference in wheel offset from front to rear.

Hate to break it to ya, but that IS very likely what the car will look like.

An is300 has...

- a 50/50 weight distro
- lexus build quality
- rear wheel drive
- a sick interior
- a 2jz motor that can be fitted wtih a tubo/supercharger/swaped to make stupid insane power
- awesome reliablity

... and from my perspective, it is a good looking car. There are worse things to be acused of than being like an is300.

yah but 19s are becoming common, and those optional ones are always about flashy looks....we will never know untilit's unveiled.

i remember the days when i ordered the 19s and though to myself, i should stick with 18s cuz 19s are too big. but now im glad i went with the 19s.

you guys are crazy if you honestly think that the new M will not impress you 100% it WILL be everything the e46 was only better, end of story. and the whole 335 vs m3 debate will go on for about........about aslong as it takes for the first time a 335 owner brings his car to the dealer for its free maintanance and wanders into the showroom and listens to johnny bmw salesperson rattle off the 534 distinct differences make the all new m3 better than the 335 and the outgoing m3 models justifying the 60-70k price tag.


bmw has been known to F some things up, but releasing the new m3 on an already new and improved 3er chassis will only result in a new and improved M car.

I wasn't sure about the new 3's until I saw one in person. Very Nice. I know the M is gonna look even better. The only thing I question is the headlights, not the most aggressive looking. I'm sure there is going to be plenty of aftermarket eyelids for the E92's.

I agree. The front flared fenders are visible, but I don't see much in the way of wider rear quarters. My hope is that most of the test cars we are seeing have the newer front fenders, but the rear sheet metal isn't on the cars as of yet. That's what I'm hoping/guessing anyway.
