Now that my car is all done and I had time to detail it I decided to get some updated photos of the car. I have a bunch more that may be better, I can't tell. I'm planning on entering a few in Bavauto's photo contest but I'm no photographer, after a while them all look the same to me. Anyone have any ideas on a good angle to shoot? Post examples if you want. Any favorites of the ones I've posted?

Thanks guys. I never got the hella lights. Since they were supposed to be free I never complained. I figure he's busy and will get around to it when he gets to it. I'm not going to pester him, easy come easy go... If they ever do come they are going on the car.

You'll probably get some tuff offers to ponder also....keep her as long as you can. Don't worry, I don't care if someone offered me $20k, the car will never be for sale. When you've put this much work into a car you can't put a price on it...

No cat. I'm running a dynomax thrush glass pack. With the turbo it's actually pretty quiet until you get on it.

That is an extremely clean car, my friend. I love the mods that you've got going on. What do you detail your car with?

Thanks. The paint job is only a few years old from a ground up restoration, my body man is top notch so it has a deep shine. I just clay bar'd and waxed it using Mother's clay and carnauba wax. If it's clean I like to use a good instant detailer like Mcguires or Mother's in between washes. I can't do without a good wheel cleaner and wheel brush, and I also used Mcguire's tire gel.

Nice car, I'd take some pictures of mine (which isn't as nice) but it doesn't look so cool with the snow encrusted car cover on it.....man I want April to get here fast so I can drive the Baur again....at least my beater 320 passed emmisions so I can drive that in the snow lol...

keep up the good work

2, 4, and 8 but 8 is my favorite. I think that 8 would be the winner. They like the shots mostly of the car with little background. Also, you have a lot of modifications and if you spent a good amount of money with them, you have a better shot of winning.

This is coming from someone who already won the BAV contest with this picture in 2004:

I have that catalog still of you in it JT. Yours is pretty much a shoe in. Some of those cars they feature just have like BavAuto sprkplug wires, Bra, and floormats. I could write a novel with the parts we have bought with our 5 bimmers. When I had them send me my product history report for my insurance appraisal they gave me a $50 gift certificate for their appreciation. This is why I like them so much, they value their customers.

I am good freinds with Rob from Bav Auto who has a 323i over there and I have a lot of my car from them. Heck even my 2.8 m20 engine -bottom end is from Tyler who raced his white 323.
Bav auto cataloq will have Josh's car in it...hey now!!
At least I have something to shoot for..congrads bro.

OT: From left field..No dude, can't be done. Think about it, or just keep smoking the ganja and repeat after me: Q: what is the best swap NA engine for the buck:
Repeat this: After inhaling deeply:
M20 2.8, M20 2.8 or can you say Knife edged Stroker?

YOur car is absolutely georgeous and almost any of the photos would work well in Bav's catalog. I think that my favorite shot of the car would be taken in my garage.

jjgbmw323 - I just saw Rob at BAV on Thursday. I was vacationing in MA and took some day trips to ME and NH. I picked up my new trunk lid from them. I usually say hi to him and hang out for an hour or so shoot the shit with those guys there.

blitzed310 - I have that flyer framed and I like to show the car with it in the windshield.

Walloth and Nesch (http://www.wallothnesch.com/e/framewelcome.htm) had a sale last year, Jbob on the forums bought a bunch and may still have a set.

VERY NICE!

It's not my yard, I would have been trespassing. I have photoshop cs2 but don't know how to use it. :dunno
