On sunday another Aussie 6er driver & I went for a little drive up to Mount Panorama at Bathurst.

We took the back roads mainly, avoiding the highway, very nice drive, the late breakfast/brunch was great too.

Both cars at the top of the mountain.

Nice cars! the bodies of both still looks great after so many years! What colour is the other 6er? Looks almost black with a hint of olive green?

Its actualy a very very dark green, Achatgrun (Agate Green) or Zypressengrun (Cypress Green).

Magic colour though.

Thanks for posting pics -- the track looks soooo inviting. :devillook
How do you manage to have the playground to yourselves?

Normaly its just a public road, gets closed off when they have races.

Normaly its a 60km/h zone, which is fine for the top of the mountain because its quite twisty and is a bit of fun at that speed but the long straights up and down are a bit boring at that speed.

Sunday was one of the few times I've been there that I didn't see any police, not to say they weren't hiding somewhere :devillook

Some info about the circuit here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Panorama_Circuit) and here (http://www.xenware.net/mountpanorama/).

Iain

Haha, Tell me about it being boring at 60 on the straights! Aaron got pinged going down there testing out someone else's M3. Managed to get away with it though!

Iain,

Is that the racing dynamics body kit on ur car? I really like the look of it. I had it on an E23 7 series that i sold in the beginning of this year. I think ill eventually get it, it just looks too good, and fiberglass is easier to repair than polywhatchamacallit. Looks good!

My car has the M-Technic Body kit (and suspension) was very lucky and very happy to have found it when I did.

Cheers,
Iain.
