I'm looking at doing some sort of "fan delete" kit on my E30 Turbo because my stock fan is getting louder and louder especially on cold starts. Anyone ever done one on an E30 before? I'm looking into getting a SPAL fan but I'm not sure of what size I should get? Should I get oval? How much CFM should I get? Also is there something like the E36 that makes the electric fan turn on at a certain like you get in the E36 kit? (80degC thermostat/alternate aux fan switch)?

im currently not running a fan on my e30
and i have no problems but im not turboed...........................yet:devillook

I have a 16" electric fan but I havent wired it up yet. It doesnt get hot unless i sit in traffic for more than 15 minutes.

yup, find the thinnest one you can. I think i used a generic summit or jegs thin 16" fan.

where do you find that? On vac/bimmerworld they only have SPAL fans...
