Looking to do a twin carb setup and was wondering what would be the better setup. Dual webers or dual solexes(like 2002ti), both in the performance and reliabillty departments. Was looking to track the car more than street it. thanks.

Mikuni sidedrafts.

If thats a daily driver I would have only single 2bbl downdraft weber.

By far the Mikuni's. IMHO, the most reliable and streetable.

I love my dual Weber 40 DCOEs. Great performance, infinitely tunable, and reliability is solid - set 'em right, and forget 'em. I've never understood why some say these are finicky units (my guess is poor set-up) - not my experience at all.

if you want the carbs with parts and help readilly available, then webers is your only choise. In performance they will all work on the tunning. All of these are streetable. Once again, tunning is the key.

good luck,

I loved my Webers .... never had a problem with them (45 sidedrafts) ... and the throttle response was amazing. I have never heard bad things about the Mikuni's either ... so I'm sure you'd be good with either.
