View Full Version : South Jersey Meet & Cruise SUNDAY 11/5!
dmurray14 10-28-2006, 02:16 AM It's about time us South Jersey guys had a meet! Hopefully we can pull this together.
I'm making this thread so hopefully we can get more people...seemed like the response was good in the other thread by Mike.
Right now the date looks like the NEXT SUNDAY, the 5th. At the very least we want to meet up, then hopefully do a cruise to the shore, possibly Island Beach State Park. If any of you have any good routes you'd like to take, we can give it a go - otherwise we'll try and figure something out. We're looking for a fun, spirited drive, but if you're going to drive like an asshat, this probably isn't for you.
Let's get this going before we put all the toys away for the winter! Who's in?

Im thinking the Red Lion Diner at the intersection of Rt206 and Rt.70. This may be a good spot for people coming from the turnpike etc. ANYONE have an idea for a cruise route? We would like to take a ride to island beach state park...I've never been so if anyone would like to lead the pack, or now a good way to get there let me know. Thanks guys.

The autocross is the last one of the season by the NJ chapter of BMWCCA. It will be in the blue lot of Commerce Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater. More details are available on the chapter's website at http://www.njbmwcca.org.

We will be meeting at 10:00am at the Redlion Diner, then going on a nice cruise to Island Beach State Park where we can take pictures, etc. Also, bring your two-way radios if you have them..

We hate to do this at the last minute but it looks like we're going to have to go ahead and POSTPONE the meet. We're both having some car issues as well as scheduling issues, not to mention it would be a lot more fun with a bigger audience. So, stay tuned - we're going to try to put another one together ASAP and give you all advanced notice so hopefully everyone that wants to can go. Again, sorry for the last minute change...

It was. Mike called my ass out of bed early that morning and said he wanted to go anyway - he had gotten his car already and wanted to go on a run with a friend. So we went - it just so happened that Noah (GODJESUS) didn't get the message and he caught up with us as we were leaving. Had I had more advance notice I would have posted something else up so you guys could come...sorry.
There WILL be another. I know Mike and Noah are planning on going to the Hotfire meet next weekend in West Chester...
