I was wondering if the manufacture year of the car affects the value of it much . Mine is one of the first 500 02's made. Would that somewhat increase the value of it comparing to the newer 74-76 units?

If I remember correctly, the round tail ones are worth the most. The square tails are worth less, with the 1975? or 1976 model being the least desireable.

It really depends, early cars in great shape, low miles, etc are worth more. Tiis in excellent shape demand pretty decent prices but it really depends on what kind of shape the car is in and if you find a buyer willing to buy it. My dad always said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. always made sense to me.

I think that is the GENERAL rule, but as Andy said, it is also dependent on its condition, if its a tii, etc...
