So today I was standing on the sidewalk of Peachtree center ave while a Blue (laguna, I think) E46 M3 with angel eyes and stock 18's gets out of the parking on that street and stops at a redlight. Now I'm in front of the redlight, 50 ft or so. Two moment laters this new black vert 6 series drives up behind the M3 and stops. So I'm thinking "wow two nice B M vehs next to each other."
Now a moment later the 6 series turns it's wheels to get next to the M3. I'm thinking either this guy is in a hurry or wants to provoke the M3 (no way!). As the light turns greens I hear this loud exhaust note and the 6 series jumps it quick. The M3 just proceeds in a normal fashion as it finds the quad exhaust on back of the 6. I guess the M3 guy thought it was worthless to even try since he was missing about 2 liters and about 200 HP and about more than 100 lb/ft torque.
I had no clue it was M6 until It went by my and I saw the badge with the quad exhaust. I see the M3 alot coming out of the same parking lot almost every other day.
