Can't believe I haven't washed off the 10+ years worth of dust yet from my tii. I've had it for about a year so far. Does anyone find that strange?

I'm a car nut and usually wash my cars religiously. I just don't know if I'm waiting to do a full resto and paintwork before I wash her or not. She also has some grease marks and now is relegated to shelf duties. Please don't crucify me on the stake just yet until I can redeem myself next spring. It is already too late this year and will be put into storage soon.

Rather than store it, bring it to Florida for the winter. Of course I would be available to drive it for you, as a favor you understand.

Haha, if I seriously thought it could make a trip to Florida reliably, I would entertain it assuming you would pick it up but I don't think she would be 100% road worthy until next year.

I rarely wash mine because a). It doesn't look a whole lot better even if I do and b). I want to keep the surface rust at bay (so I try to introduce as little water as possible to the paint/rust). All told, I probably wash it 1-2 times a year -- and this is for a car that does see daily use for part of the year.
