My Z4Mcoupe arrived at the PDI centre on Friday and my Dealer says it should be with them on Wednesday (Thats tommorrow - kicks self to remind!)

Despite the fact its so close, they are unable to guarentee the timeframe - but either way it looks like I'll be taking my baby home by the weekend!!!!

I just had to share this info with people who understand what its like, I think my collegues are becoming mildly concerned about me obsessing over delivery dates.

Damn - its so close yet so far.

Congrats! The excitment is understandable. Mine was supposed to be delivered last Wednesday...but that's another story. Enjoy your new machine.

Its saphire black with Imola red interior - despite the controversy I went for the "carbon fibre" leather trim. The option list is pretty sparse in the UK. Its actually a well specced car from stock(imagine my surprise!!!) but I have pretty much got it all, aprt from the voice activation stuff for the phone.

The one thing I am still contemplating is a clear bra application, i'm just a little nervous having never done it before.

I will have to bore you with a few dull posts so i can get my count up high enough to post pictures!

What controversy is there over carbon leather trim? I chose this because wood is for boats and the aluminum blinded me on a test drive. Carbon leather was the only choice for me.

I just noticed on this board a lot of folks didnt like the carbon leather look. I obviously do as i went for it. The wood seems out of place on this car and the aluminium scratches way too easily. The only other choice was the piano black from the "individual" range but it seemed a bit pricey for a bit of black plastic!!!!

What a dissapointment!
The transporter never turned up.....It should be here this morning. At least its dry today.
Some guy who has an m6 convertible was in there moaning his head off. I kept quiet said its one of these things and got some free goodies :-)
