cerealkiller93 10-23-2006, 08:14 PM Sell that ratty ol' nissan! I prefer E36's, but I've often considered Pulling my motor and buying an E30 and dropping it in.
I actually had a nissan between the time i sold my first E36 and the time i Bought this hunk of junk. Sold the nissan and bought the bmw the next day. It was a wise choice. One of the reasons i bought the nissan was because i *thought* it would be cheaper to drive and maintain for the time being, WRONG, after a tuneup on it i decided i wanted another bmw.
iwant740speed 10-23-2006, 08:15 PM i have always liked ol bmw's and i saw whoever bought the one and name it goose and it sparked my mind again i have and oppurtunitie to get a red 90' auto 325 down the road for 3000
cerealkiller93 10-23-2006, 08:16 PM ...ehh buy a manual. Its worth it, i hate my auto-tragic. not that conversions arent possible, just.... buy a manual to start out with and save yourself the money.
iwant740speed 10-23-2006, 08:21 PM i liove drivin stick you dont get bored as easy!
cerealkiller93 10-23-2006, 08:41 PM a bmw with a stick is "teh betta den teh sexz0rz"
no seriously. Lol.... think of a honda as a fat chick, an auto bmw as a descent chick, and a stick bmw as a <insert supermodel/celebrity/girl of your dreams here>
ok all joking aside, they really drive great.
IWannaBMW 10-23-2006, 09:13 PM you won't be dissapointed trust me i went from 5 speed jap crap to 5 speed german junk and it's a world of a difference

325i Vert 10-24-2006, 10:47 PM im i in a joke now?or is that a bad car?
Its an awful car...
No, its really not. Its actually a very nice find. Just about the best conditon an original example can be. Would be a great car for a easy restoration. Not much is needed to make it a great showing car.

No joke.
I have a 100% original '87 L6 (lux version of the 635 Csi) that is for sale.
cerealkiller93 10-24-2006, 11:11 PM L6 Ftmfw!
theseeker411 10-25-2006, 05:02 PM How much are you asking for the L6 Joe?
BimmerFreak 10-25-2006, 05:23 PM How much are you asking for the L6 Joe?
If I can sell it local (ie: dont have to deal with Autotrader/Roundel/Ebay and shipping) I will take 2.5k just to get it out of my building by winter.
If I have to market it outside of the local area, I will start at 4500.00 obo.
*If you are wanting to retire the 5er, this would make for one hell of a great car.
It needs a few things:
New battery
Swap the tranny to manual

iwant740speed 10-25-2006, 05:56 PM i still want an e 30
cerealkiller93 10-25-2006, 10:40 PM or look for a bimmer i want an ol e30 but i need input please!im stuck in a rut
i still want an e 30
if you knew are so sure on what you wanted why did you ask for input? Sell your truck and buy an e30 then... they arent that expensive, surely you can get some money off your truck.
theseeker411 10-25-2006, 11:43 PM Joe, I'm not retiring the 5er (not yet), but I am looking for a car for my roommate, and I can't think of a better one than an old BMW. He's gonna be in the market for a new car pretty soon.
Iwant740speed, if I were you I'd sell the truck and get an e30 325is for cheap and possibly throw a TCD turbo kit on there. A 98 Frontier in the South should get you at least 7 grand easy.
iwant740speed 10-26-2006, 08:34 AM its got 114,000 miles
cerealkiller93 10-26-2006, 10:35 AM .......and? thats not that many miles for a nissan. Have you gone on autotrader and looked at what other nissan trucks like yours are selling for? Theres old e36s on here with 180K miles selling for 5K.
iwant740speed 10-26-2006, 04:45 PM theres a 94 325i for 3500 OBO down the road from me
