View Full Version : Any chance of finding a used 335i?
Weedo 10-23-2006, 03:33 PM Since I live in Arizona, we pay $0 tax when we buy from a Private Owner. At 8% tax that's another $3300 or so. Any chance of finding a nice, slightly used 335i at this point? Anyone sick of theirs yet? Hey, worth a shot!
txBMW 10-23-2006, 03:34 PM Good luck....
SpunkyE30nOk 10-23-2006, 03:35 PM haha....i think the new 335i are on back order, you're best chance for getting a used one would probably be a leased vehicle someone didn't like *highly unlikely* and traded it for a different model... check bmw Cpo u might have a chance looking there
Weedo 10-23-2006, 03:42 PM Good luck....
I've seen about 5 go on Ebay Motors. I'm still shocked. Only 1 was Private Owner and I wasn't ready to buy 2 weeks ago.
At the rate I go through cars, I'm just hoping someone else does too!
txBMW 10-23-2006, 03:43 PM Again, Good luck - all are back order here - but I did get a pre-owned 328ci in ....but is has gone already too....
KPACOTKA 10-23-2006, 03:52 PM I've seen a used 335 at front of East Bay BMW. It's automatic though.
///M3Vader4dr 10-23-2006, 03:56 PM I'd say you could fine one...
remember ppl can't always pay
their bills...Repo FTW!

Maybe a dealer who is using one as a demo?
Vegas335 10-23-2006, 07:51 PM I'll sell you mine for $3299 over what I paid.
Vegas335 10-23-2006, 07:52 PM Kidding by the way:)
Weedo 10-23-2006, 08:59 PM Timing seems to be everything... On Ebay a dealer was selling them for $2500 below MSRP. I missed out on a grey/red Coupe. Someone that's probably on here no doubt! They don't have any more in stock but can order them...

H1? Or....
....errr...
...
I expect that after the convertible goes on sale there will be a lot of people going: "man I should have waited for the convertible". They you should see more used 335i coupes.
Russell328is 10-24-2006, 01:02 PM And speaking of which, there's never been a better time to pick up an '06 330i, 330ci, 330cic, or M3 on the cheaps.
Weedo 10-25-2006, 01:46 AM I've been hassling my dealer every couple weeks for a few months now. They don't order any manual trans 3-series, only special order. And they're about 3 month out on any car coming in; the rest are presold.
Turns out they have a handful coming in that they were "awarded"......and........guess what? Yep, they have EXACTLY what I want coming in! Deposit was put down today and the car should be here in about a week!!
Space Grey/Coral
6-speed manual
Sport
Premium
Heated Seats
And my wife is GEEKED that she's going to be taking over the IS350. Win-win!!
As for price......I talked them down $1000 off MSRP so I don't feel as bad buying new, although the tax still hurts.
