Hey ya'll...

Im looking to move away from 2 door coupes and into something a little larger/more practical but still fun.

Im looking at manual tranny 330i's with Sports pkg, black leather interior, pretty loaded, miles are not really a concern as long as it was well maintained and ALL original body panels/no accidents and is very clean.

Im leaning also towards e39 540i 6-spds, Sports pkg would be nice but not completely necessary. Once again Black interior, prefer 1998+. No accidents and up to date maintenance wise.

Im looking to spend up to $19000. Let me know if anyone has any cars out there like this.

Thanks!

P.s. - I prefer the car be in the state of CA.

Jeff, 540i V8s are junk. They need a lot of work to run properly. Not only that but the DSC units are junk. They go out like every 60k. Most e39s you find now a day need some TLC.

I'd say get an e46 330i sport. Even though your M will still take it, the 330i sport is a cool car to drive around.

What about a new e90?

Can't afford an e90, they are awesome though! ... Im leaning towards a 01 330i w/ a stick, Sport package cause i love the bumpers on them. I just want something newer, i've had e36 M3's for about 4 years almost, time for a change :) And they are plenty fast for me, i need something that will perhaps slow me down a little and get better gas mileage.

How ya doing man?

e46s are pretty simple, I'd go with that.

Myself, doing ok. Its slow at the shop right now. But were almost Center of Excellence again. CAr is running well. Looking to get some shocks and springs soon. By then I might be coming across a s/c kit for a bargin.
