Hey, I was wondering if there is anyone of this forum that is located in Raleigh North Carolina, or nearby that goes out to capital boulvard on the weekends. I know a couple BMWs go out there, but I want to see more out there. Just reply if you ever go out there or would be interested in going out there to check out the other bimmers...I posed it in the wrong section and moved it over here...

I had one experience in high school with capital blvd with my old WRX. In one word I think I can summate my experience, rice. There are a few nice cars, but alot of the Phantasm crowd too.

I remember the saturday night conventions on capital. there were always some sketchy races going down in the middle of pretty heavy traffic. capitals probably the first place i ever drag raced. its such a bad idea tho the rollers are deep out there, and i dont live there anymore. watch out for el grande.

i live in raleigh, i used to go out to capital a lot on weekend nights before i totalled my streetbike. never taken the M3 out there for any nightruns, but i'd be interested in meeting up with some other BMWs and showing the ricers whats up.

I'd be down for crusing around, streetracing...err not this guy. Already learned my lesson there.

haha yea i was thinking that was a typo. there is also a 3werks meet at playmakers on saturday I think around 7-8:00 if anyone is interested. im gonna try my best to get there and then maybe roll to capital.

There were a couple people out there, but not as much as usual, I saw that M5 in that video pulled over w/ about 5 cops around his car, but I plan to try to go out this weekend...

I've never been outhere on Saturdays I did how ever roll through there this summer about 8/9 pm. Didn't know it was such a hot spot for cars.
