Up for sale is a Dinan 3.5" carbon fiber CAI. It is an intake for the 3.0 Z3 seen here: http://www.dinancars.com/SeriesPrint.asp?prod=624
It has been cut short so it would fit all 6 cyliner e36. (M50,S50,M52,S52) It has a reducing coupler to fit stock 3" HFM and I can throw in another coupler to fit a 3.5" HFM. It does not have the original Dinan Filter, but has a brand new generic one. It also does not include the Dinan filter sock. Weave is in excellent condition with no frays and clear coat is not chipped or scratched. Regular price is $549 asking $350

if you can convince me that it's better than the aluminum one I already have... ;)

It's a nice piece, really. And it's probably worth that money. But damn, that's a lot of money for a simple CF tube, some hose clamps and rubber cuplers, and an Auto-Zone filter...
Guess the silk-screened D costs more than you'd think.

Good luck with the sale. Honestly.
