How many people so far are down to go, do you know?
I thought they'll be closed all winter long and re-open again in the spring.
But if more than five go I'll definetly go too, check if Chris is down to go also......[I will have a few surprises for then ;)]

They're open, they laughed when I asked if they were closed for the winter.
There will be more than five. I have Dan's new stickley built beast,a friend of his with a 95 m3, my M3, the M-Tech, Bear if we can get his tranny in, a 97m3 from hampton, a Type-R Integra, a Lightning, Chris (if we can get him to sacrifice some beauty sleep), and I'm sure a few more will drop in to check it out. It should be fun, besides I like surprises!!:D I haven't checked with Dean to see how many have signed up, I'll email him right now and PM you.

How are you planning to drive two cars down from NH? Tow one with the other? :)

The Z has more than enough trunk space for the M to ride along.

I'm going to try to drop by just to watch. I barely have money for maintenance, nevermind fun activities. I'll just stop by to meet y'all and check out Chapel's pavement-shredding 135HP... :)

Chapel, its $75 per car with four, and $65 per car if we get 6 or more. Its looking like its going to be $65, I have four cars definitely coming with me. J10, the Rimpro crew, and you make it 9. We will all get at least 3, maybe 4, runs.

I live in Newbury, so your a stones throw away. We should meet up sometime, I'm always out wasting gas and tires. :devillook

Yeah, so are you going to take your school buddy up on his offer. A lift in a HEATED shop would be nice.

You could do it without second. You only need to get it up to fourth and let her rip, although it would be better if you had your new tranny.

Bimmer9938, I'm probably going to do some suspension work next summer(need new shocks, thinking coilovers will be in the mix) if this guy would be a moderate drive for me to get to from NH, or from a friends in Boston, I'd love to hook up a good person to do the work. Either post or PM me his info, or be subject to a post next summer asking for it... Please.

Thanks.

Hi all,
I'm planning on heading up to the dyno on Saturday, $65 sounds like a great price for a few pulls.

I'd like to get a baseline before i do any mods. I'm also curious to see if my custom exhaust (it is a hybrid M3/M roadster exhaust) is robbing any power.

Anyone else leaving from the Braintree/Quincy area? What time of the day are most folks heading up?

Thanks
-Matt

I'm leaving in the Early AM.

J10, when are you heading down?? I'll be going via 495 also, we should hook up and make it a caravan. I have a few people from my area going.

Chapel, if your going via 128, I'll see ya there. It's quicker for me to take 495. I have a guy from Hampton meeting up also, so its easier for him to jump on 495. You're lucky if you can average 70mph on 128 anyway. I can't drive that slow!!

We should do something after we dyno, maybe some video mischeif or something??:devillook

01-06-2003, 11:26 AM
I have a set of snows for the Z. THE M...... Yeah lets pray for good weather or it stays home. Hell it stays if the roads arent 100% dry.

bimmer143
01-06-2003, 11:36 AM
Well, I've been thinking if the weather doesn't work with us we may have to reschedule. I'd like everyone to show and many won't if it snows or there is a good amount on the ground. I know here there is still snow on most side streets and more coming. What do you guys think?

DocWyte
01-06-2003, 11:42 AM
Well I'm up for it. I have blizzaks on the M and it sees it all. It would be nice to go on a nice day, but I have the feeling we're not going to have those again till at least May.

bimmer143
01-06-2003, 11:53 AM
Well its up to the majority. I'm down for whatever. I'm not going to dyno the M3 but the M-Tech is still in. My check engine light just started coming on, getting codes for knock sensors. After the M-Tech's performance with bad knock sensors, its a waste of time untill I change them. It'll get done this week, but thats my dyno money.:(

Snow tires and the M3 rock!!:buttrock My buddy found some cones in an empty parking lot, we set up a snow course and..........................:devillook........... ..it was great.

Chris, we may need your help editing it when we you get back from CT. We are rookies and you are the pro!! Also, you will be shooting video of the event your attending, right?? I'm curious to see what they're all about.

Nite, yes!! I told him we needed a meet to check out the new ride and he said he'd be at dyno day.

This should be a fun Dyno Day with more than just bimmers. I've invited a couple cool cars, hopefully they will show!!

I would have braved the roads (245/35/18 Toyo T1-S Proxes all around are probably as good as 2 sleds in the snow) for a chance of seeing the actual numbers my car puts down/// but the 11th is my girlfriend's birthday. If I tried to bring her, or just went, I'd be in deep shit all year :)

No problem, Zoso!! Keep your girl happy, we'll have another in a few months!! Besides, those Toyos suck in the inclement weather. My buddy couldn't even get his Type-R out of the driveway with those on!!
