I Have a 750il 1995 when I bought the car it was a non runner the throttle bodys and mass air unit were missing I bought some used throttle bodys and mass air unit for the states fitted them the car is lacking power when I press the acelerator the engine makes alot of noise but is very slow for a v12 I have taken the air intakes off the throttle body they dont seem to open much when you hit the throttle it will it 120mph maximum speed can any one help Mike

Try changing out your O2 sensors that may help.
When was the fuel fliter and/or rails, injectors changed?
When has the plugs, plug wirs and harness changed?
I'm not sure where it is located but, see if the ecu has corrosion on it.

Those throttles need to be adapted and synchronized after replacement. You need a DIS or GT1 for this. I bet there are other problems as well, though. There are a million things that could cause this condition on the V12 cars.

What is a dis or gt1
DIS stands for Diagnosis Information System and the GT1 is the Group Tester 1 which is the tool. DIS is just the software. DIS plus are the old school machines before the GT1. They are the BMW diagnosis tools.
