Ok guys: I did my research first but I didn't find the answer so here it goes.
I've bought the Dice + DSP Ipod unit, I've installed following the installation Manual and no luck the DSP adapter has power all the wires are pluged correctly, but nothing it doesn't recognize it, it seems that the head unit can't find the DICE, and yes I did unplug the battery cables touch them to clear any power from the system, I did take the fuses out and the radio still has the preset FM stations and it doesn't recognize the DICE.
Any help will be greatly apreciated. thx

OK, first off, puncutation is your friend.
You might not have the right connector back there.
The most common errors with the DSP kit result in recognition, but no audio.
Did you have a CD changer in there before? Did the radio "see" it?
If not, do you have any friends who might have a CD changer? Or do you have any friends with BMWs that the DICE also should work in?
You basically have to test the DICE in another BMW, or test another device in the car.
If your DICE is dead out of the box, that's the only way to tell, short of having a second one to try.

Your user details say you have a 3-series, however DSP was not an option in the 3-series. Are you installing this into another vehicle?

I had the kit in my previous MY97 540 w/DSP, most of the development was from that platform - you will have no problems.
