So my diver headlight with the adjuster bustend bounces when I gover over bumps not to much but there is more play when I checked this out. I dont want the ligths to go bad due to this any suggestions or is this normal.

put a new adjuster in there - only way to completely solve the problem

yeah just be very very careful when you're popping the reflector off of the other adjusters - the crappy reflectors in the Depo lights I had are made of some cheap pot metal or something

I had the same thing. I took my CPO'd car in for A MAF and they replaced the entire drivers side headlight to the tune of $700.

They told me that it was the only way to fix it. I knew there was the $14 adjuster kit, but hey, if they wanted to give me a new light, who am I to complain.

The only reason that I didn't want them to was because my passenger light now looks like a POS compared to the drivers side. Its too pitted, but I will try to sand it with 2000 grit and polish it to see if it helps.

I guess the dealers have decided that they don't want to take apart the headlamps.

i dont blame them. i have a problem with my auto leveling lights, they don't auto level. when i first bought the car, i'd stop at the top of a speed bump and watch them point down. now, they don't move. i'm probably gona take it to the stealer when i can actually find some time and get them to fix it.
