I just got my mtech bumpers installed on my 99 528. (Thank you to the girl that rear ended me and gave me $800 cash on the spot) Now that I have it in, there is a rear cut out for exhaust but my current stock muffler is what I like to call...limp. Im looking to fill up the cut out. So I'm not looking for any performance. I was looking for either exhaust that is fairly quiet daily driving but has a little humph to it when I want it to Or just no sound upgrade at all. I cant justify spending a third of my cars value for exhaust so I debating on what to do. Should I just go to a local muffler shop and get a tip installed to fill up the gap and get no sound upgrades. Or should I go with a regular magnaflow muffler..how does it sound on an I6? *not looking for anything loud* Thanks for the input.

I have supersprint exhaust. With stock resonator you can't even hear it, delete it and the Supersprint has a very nice and quite rumble. I HIGHLY reccomend it, also the tips are beautiful. Only downside is cost, www.bmpdesign.com sells them.

Here she is, not too flash, but in real life very much noticeable.

Wow I love the car. Exhaust is great too. Its hard to spend $700+ only on exhaust for my car.

can't you just put a different tip on the current muffler?

Yeah I think I'll just go that route for now. Just to fill out the back end. I guess I can just go to a local muffler shop and have them put one on.

I also have the supersprint muffler and I have a Racing Dynamics rear apron with cutout so this could give you an idea of the look (the furthest right pic...I'll try to find another better one)
