Just to piggy back on the post before. I had tried a few products. Now How to remove the scratches and color due to oxidation. Go to Advanced Autos and buy there headlight removal kit follow the directions. This will remove the rock scratch and some oxidation. They will still look like shit but don't worry. Use the Plas-x by McGuire's. I applied like the other post about 10times. My headlights look GREAT! Almost Brand New. Which I could post pics but my camera hasent arrived yet. I am waiting on it allong with 100 mp4 players and a fake Rolex(the new yachtmaster) they have perfect fakes with Seiko movement in Korea.

As for using a cleaner I have no idea - but you can - it is not widely known - purchase just the plastic cover for most headlights through BMW. Depending on the exact year etc - they are replaceable....most BMW part guys will not tell you this and try to sell the entire unit - which can run upwards of 800 depending on the year.....

Use these directions Auto Headlight kit $12-15 and Plas-x $10. $25 for clear lights. IT WORKS! and Makes Sense!
