They are 5,995 and snap on RARELY does sales at all, maybe your snap on dealer will throw the top on(700 bucks) for free?!?!?! 95m3Lightweight 10-21-2006, 12:51 AM how can you do that? They are 5,995 and snap on RARELY does sales at all, maybe your snap on dealer will throw the top on(700 bucks) for free?!?!?! Actually good deals do come around. Lots and lots of new techs think they must have the big $$$$ snappy boxes and snappy will gladly finance it for them. A year later when they realize the shop's promises of 100k doesnt happen, they try to sell with no luck and the snap on man repo's the box or takes it back etc. Then snappy man sells the box to someone with cash for a big discount or the next new tech on terms. I have never understood the reason why so many folks finance such expensive boxes right off the bat. A used sub 1,000 box or off brand works just fine until they have established themselves. I bought the older version of this box for $500 back in 2000. Yes $500. Guy had been trying to sell it for $2000 for months, no takers. Finally he asked what price would I take it for and I replied it was worth $500 to me. I sold it later instead of trying to move it for $500. Wish I had kept it as it was a nice box. Think it is considered to be a aircraft mechanics box since it has teh working surface on top of it.
