I got the tail lights from Umnitza ... the only issue I have is- slight frosting on the corner of the tail lights ... but not really noticeable ... but the price is great for the look ...
bmwlovr 10-20-2006, 03:39 PM Love the color -- personally not a huge fan of the breytons, but the seem to be popular.
I have an oxford green of the same vintage ('99) and rather like the amber corner/sidemarker/tails and older style headlights -- I do have xenons though. I have been contemplating updating to a clear/red, but when contrasted with the green I think the amber looks better...

yeah have the same thing on my umnitza tails - only person that notices it is me though, so it only bugged me for a couple days after i installed them
supark 10-20-2006, 05:35 PM wheels look great man - those are 19s right? I have 20% tint on my ride as well and it's perfect. I also have the dension icelink on mine and love it - I want to do a dash mount though eventually because I like being able to scan through the song list.

I also have an oxford green one from that vintage ('98) and I think that of all colors, it looks the best with the older lights. I don't think my car would good with smoked lenses, for instance, whereas a black car usually looks great with them. Same with blacked-out grille.

The rims in his car are not Breyton Spirits but look familiar. I think they are a knock off version of the design or brand. Here are some photos of my E39 with "real" breyton spirits and believe me you can tell the difference. (see below) Though I love the lip of the rear shoes.
It is a nice looking ride, tough. As others have stated I would update to HID lights/Hella's in the rear and perhaps add a touch of tint all around for good modernized sleek look.

Do those tailights have the celis parking leds? or do they just look like them lit by regular bulbs?
Thanks!
misterphat 10-21-2006, 01:29 AM there are two types of the Celis look (led): one is the picture submitted by Kaptom540 (lower price) and the REAL one (which retail close to $400). I've seen the knockoff DEPO in person and it looks OEM. I think it's better than getting the LED one. and yes they use regular light bulbs.

You car looks really clean..I like the color black. Although as much as I like the black exterior color I could never own one because it gets dirty too easily, but when it's clean it looks soo GOOD as the pictures show (nice ride dude!!!). the wheels I got are from Modular Wheels. If anyone is interested in the size and the actual wheels pictures checkout the following link:

Getting a new AE headlights would be great. My concern with the umnitza AE headlights is how do they project the xenon HID lights onto the road. I have HID, currently on my car, and love how the factory HID project the lights onto the road. The concern originated from my past car an e36. I upgraded my e36 to DEPO projector headllights and did the HID conversion. The beam pattern of the HID lights really sucks because of the wrong projector (it was designed for a regular H1 halogen bulbs. to cut the story short I ended up basically building my own headlights assembly using a Hella projectors from a X5. The end result was a night and day difference...i was one of the only few e36 who had an actual HElla projectors on my e36 along with bi-xenon.
If anyone have experience going from regular e39 5 series factory HID to umnitza AE lights...please share your experience and comment that you may have. If I don't go the umnitza route..is it hard to change to factory AE HID??
I will try to take closeup pics of the wheel for everyone soon. Glad you guys like it. It was extremely hard for me to find the Anthracite color (dark gray metallic)

Hello,
Do you have any pictures of these DEPO rear lights lit up at night time?
Thanks! Im just curious if you see the lines for the parking lights or do you just see 2 bulbs like the regular tail lights.
Thanks again!
