View Full Version : Anyone in Ct that wants thier Bimmer buffed... 84 GRANDSPORT 10-19-2006, 05:05 PM I have been doing it for a long time & would love to buff your car...Here is more about what I do! http://hartford.craigslist.org/aos/222466075.html JTFormula 10-19-2006, 05:40 PM Good luck on your venture. One question though, If you were doing this for a long time and are the self proclaimed "best detailer in CT", why are you using the term "I want to buff your car" - It doesn't sound professional. The term “Detailing” sounds better and professional. Also, if I had a high end car, I would want my car hand waxed. This is just some friendly advice. I am not knocking you. I used to detail on a professional basis and every customer I had wanted hand waxing. I only did high end cars. I also charged $225-250 depending on the size (Porsche 911 $225, Mercedes 500SELs were $250). People are willing to pay the money if they get good work. 84 GRANDSPORT 10-19-2006, 06:10 PM Good luck on your venture. One question though, If you were doing this for a long time and are the self proclaimed "best detailer in CT", why are you using the term "I want to buff your car" - It doesn't sound professional. The term ?Detailing? sounds better and professional. Well I say that because I do not like cleaning interiors which falls into the "detailing" term. I actually have a kid that works for me 2 days a week cleaning interiors as the dealers want the whole car cleaned not just the paint. At one time I had my own shop with 3 employees but by the time I paid my taxes (kids worked under the table) It just was not worth it. I will just hand wax any car but in the sun you will still see fine scratches. A real nice car can atleast be glazed with a blue pad (NO SWIRLS AT ALL) then hand waxed. I have seen many other "detailers" who thought they knew what they were doing & once they worked for me every one said they did not know shit till they worked for me. I also have had more then 1 dealer tell me I am the best detailer they have ever seen!:alright I sell cars for a living & detailing is just for extra cash as I just built a house & have a kid in Daycare. As far as being the best I believe I am. 90% of the cars i clean from dealers are high end as they only trust me. I wet sand also & have done that one cars that cost over 50k! I know there are alot of older Bimmers on this board that I can make look 100% better by simply buffing them.... 84 GRANDSPORT 10-19-2006, 06:13 PM Here are my cars detailed of course so you can see I can be trusted. :D The picture is in my garage at home where I clean cars at night! http://www.corvettevalley.com/gallery/data/500/medium/P3170001.jpg 84 GRANDSPORT 10-19-2006, 06:15 PM I am gonna let the cars I have done do the talking...Here are a few cars I have buffed! http://www.corvettevalley.com/gallery/data/500/medium/P9060002.jpg http://www.corvettevalley.com/gallery/data/500/medium/P4250003.jpg http://www.corvettevalley.com/gallery/data/500/medium/P2180001.jpg http://www.corvettevalley.com/gallery/data/500/medium/P3290013.jpg http://www.corvettevalley.com/gallery/data/500/medium/P5030012.jpg http://www.corvettevalley.com/gallery/data/500/medium/P6270002.jpg These are just a few I did...As you can see I detail alot of Corvettes!:D Hopz 10-19-2006, 07:34 PM how much do you charge? I can do it on a Sunday morning & you would have it back in a few hours. If the car is Black it take alot longer!:eyecrazy Have someone follow you up...drop it off & I would call you when it was finished. I live 10 minutes from a mall...there are places to eat/drink even closer... So where do you live? Hour and a 1/2 i am guessing not in Ct... |
