hey gmat, quick question....
i am going to be driving up to seattle pretty soon, i've only made the drive once (when i moved down here). i think that i just took i-5 to bakersfield then headed over to 10 into az. have you made the drive, and if so, what route did you take?
i'm a bit worried with the potential for crappy weather that i may just stay on i-5 as much as possible.

Hey man when are you going? I am going too, i was thinking about leaving sometime between thursday-saturday. I am worried about the weather also. Especially around shasta. I believe im going to just stay on i-5 as much as possible, i usually do the bakersfield route too.

I've moved over from DTM as well, but have been in BF.C a while too. I'm from arizona (tucson) moved to Northern VA last May.

right now i am planning on leaving sat morning.

How are you liking VA Jcole? Miss the sun yet?

Well saturday is supposed to be the best day to go, that would put you in shasta on sunday and there is only supposed to be a 30% chance of precipitation that day (snow). I am a little worried about getting into snow. I have no traction control and pilot sports. lol

not yet, still trying to figure out what everything would cost, reliability, & most importantly power :evil2 for each setup.

but, i gotta get back studying for finals :mad: .........hopefully i'll come to a decision in the next week or so.

Nothing has been done to it yet, it's all stock right now. Right now, quite a few parts are on order, but they probably won't be here until January. So far only an exhaust and a shift kit have been ordered. After that I will be looking to build up ten Dinan points with a chip, a suspension kit, strut bars, etc. And then I don't know. Exterior styling will probably come next. If I had the money for a G-power M5, an S2-M5, or a Nowak 500 M5 I would definitely upgrade, but with the stock market like this...those probably won't happen :( I look forward to seeing you at the next meet though. That Transam sounds killer, I always have quite the soft spot for American Muscle. Almost went for the Camaro SS at one point, big block power, hell yeah :redspot With any luck, I should be able to bring my friend down to the next meet. Then there will be two domestics and one acura (also my friend). My friend with a domestic drives a Bullet GT and also switches between an SVT Cobra and a Mach 1. He wants to see the TA too. Hopefully, at the next meet we'll both get our chance! Until then :wave: Oh and then there is Todd's car...:eek:

In case some of you noticed my car is no longer for sale :D I was able to buy my condo without selling it but now I have no cash flow to fix my suspension. As soon as that is taken care of I will be back to the meets.:95
