New question; 04, X-3, 2.5, 23,000 miles,severe cupping inside left and right front tires, vehicle does not pull, no vibration just very noisy tires(like snow tires). Dealer claims defective tires. Also slight cupping at rear tires, tires rotated 7,000 miles ago. Bridgestone Turanza tires still have lots of tread left. Vehicle is still under warranty. I am getting lots of conflicting advice from two different local respected dealers. How would you approach this problem.

Do you have an alignment shop you can trust? I have a guy in OKC, he will even let me sit in the shop with him while he does the work. You might also check with Tire Rack and see if they have anyone in your area who they can recomend.
I have a suburban 4wd and even with a good alignment it still chews up tires faster than my BMW. I just rotate and buy new as needed.
