Well, I just picked up a new toy. I got a really good deal on a 1988 Ducati 750 Paso. But now that I have this, my other bike has to go because I have no room for 2 bikes...

Its a 1987 Honda CBR600F1 Hurricane. This would be a great first bike. Its had a lot of work done to it recently. Here are the details and pictures: http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/mcy/222048219.html.

If your a fellow BMW enthusiast though, i'll be more flexable with the pricing. :)

heres a pic of my new Ducati:

A classic Duc! Nice condition too. Well done, and nice of you to offer your fellow Bimmer peeps a little "flexibility".

I'm all set in the bike department though. I have a 2000 Triumph Sprint RS that I bought new in March 2000. It's got about 54,000 miles on it now, with more to come. I hope you get plenty of seat time on the red rocket there. Best of luck with it. As my friends like to say, "take the Ducati for a ride, and then adjust the valves." heh heh

Yeah, I know this bike is going to require more maintenance than a Honda. Plus parts are more expensive and harder to get. But I think its worth it. After riding my Honda, then riding the Ducati....then going back to the Honda, I realized why Ducatis are such sought-after bikes. If anyone ever gets a chance to take a Ducati for a spin, I highly recomend doing it.
