All of these cars are forthcoming. The Audi R8 sounds mean. The E92 sounds good as well; however, it seems to push the hardest out of all of them (at least from what I can see/hear). The R8 seems to jump out -- and that GT2 -- well, it's exit looks much faster compared to all others (which is to be expected).

I'm surprised at how the R8 is looking though. The M3 sounds really good going away; but, the R8's exhaust note sounds much more aggressive for some reason.

The Audi does sound marvelous! The Porsche looks ultra sexy! Thanks for sharing.

Hmm, i think not, watch again at the last turn, the M carried more speed through it than the rest. Or maybe im biased and my eyes are bad =). ( Contacts tend to dry up) Ps. The AMG was the worst to me. The Porsche was the best and the M takes 2nd. As for the audi, meh VW/Audi is turning into GM and taking technology and visual design from sister companies, no points from me.

That AMG "Black" likely has a 6.2L V8 (530hp), ceramic brakes, is factory wide-bodied and comes with forged 19's, etc. = BEASTLY streetable race car!

The Audi likely has the Gallardo's V10 (or a derivative V8), 4wd, etc. = usable supercar.

The Porsche is a frigging Hattori Hanzo scalpel.

The M3 is pedestrian compared to these other cars, and it should be, it is prolly $30k less than the next cheapest car.

Do you think these cars were being pushed to the max? Do you think they were racing? These guys were just lapping. Was the M3 driver more ambitious than the others? Did he have more to prove? Or was the M3 just super fast in the turns? Who knows?

Seemed to me like the tires on the M3 were crying a helluva lot louder than the other cars and perhaps the car was understeering a bit. I think it was being pushed harder by the driver. That's one good thing about tracking an M3 vs. higher-end exotica . . . they are super easy to go fast in, and if you do happen to go off - nobody really cares too much.

Well, that's only because that is what is on the track with it. I'm sure the M3 is badazz in a big way, but there is no comparison to the other cars, really. Apples vs. an orange, I supect.

When I was on the track w/ an F40, Noble, Gallardo and Elise, my e36 M3 was compared to them in some fashion I suppose, albeit not very favorably. :D (FYI I passed the Noble and elise, and got blown into the weeds by the F40 and Gallardo!)

BTW, check this site re the audi. It is truly stellar.

And what's the Bimmer at the very end of the video that lights up the right rear tire coming out of the turn at high speed? Was it another E92 M3? No LSD on that car, or were BOTH rear tires roasting and I just missed it?

That Audi is pretty damn ugly IMO. Then again everything looks like shit next to a 997 GT2

And if you buy a car just for sound, I feel sad for you. More so, an Audi.

That "Audi" is a Lamborghini don't even pretend that it was original Audi. VW/Audi just played with the front end a little. The back still screams Lamborghini. Just an attempt to get more of the exotic market by VW/Audi. The Audi is about as different from the Lamborghini as the Camaro is from the Firebird.

Sorry to disappoint, the R8's design is roughly based off the Gallardo, however it will have a 4.2L V8 with 420 hp and 317 ft-lbs (RS4 engine). Top speed of 187 with a 0-62 of 4.6 sec. It will also have a 12 speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. :buttrock

I must say that the AMG looks absolutely beautiful.
