ok guys. taking a light mod m3, (m50 and catback)
and putting like a stg1 TT turbo on the car, with stock diff and 245 pilot sports out back

whats a BALLPARK guess on the quarter mile time, i mean ballpark for a decent driver, i just want to see what the car MIGHT be capable of with a stg 1 kit.
thanks guys, oh and be sure and watch for the full photo DIY ill put up when i do all this.

dude I dunno about times or even projected HP numbers...But a friend of mine just asked me to install his stg1 kit in trade for his (kinda busted) AA S/C.

If my boss lets me do it when I'm off the clock, I will also be posting a little write up with dyno.

We should race after the install. Good luck with yours

I'd say in the hands of a really skilled wheelman, even 11's are possible for stg1, but you can safely assume that mid-low 12's are in the bag if you know what you're doing.

id be going with a different rear end ratio and most likely R compound rear tires. or at the very least 255 neovas.

would you say swapping rear ends would be a good move on a light boost m3? id go to a 3.91 prolly

you probably don't want to go with that much of a higher final drive ratio. if you did want to go with something higher to help your drag times you would probably want to stop at a 3.38 since the higher you go the more useless your 1st and 2nd gear will be. by raising the ratio you will be giving yourself less time to build boost in the lower gears.

+1

dont go higher than 3.23-3.46 range
