(this is the same post on roadfly)

hey everyone, i just noticed today a small puddle of coolant under my car......and it looks like the throttle body outlet coolant hose may have sprung a small leak at the clamp on the block.

does anyone know the part # or where i can get one? (preferably not the dealer)

or should i just pick up some 1/4" ID hose and make my own?

thanks,
jason

no problem.......i just put some silicone goo around it, and it's holding for now. but i plan on replacing it next week when i get the intake manifold off.

Okay, I finally got around to asking parts, and they said they needed to know where the hose goes after it leaves the throttle body, b/c apparently the diagram isn't that well laid-out...

bimmerdawg: i may need both hoses, but the one that's leaking goes from the throttle body to this connection that's located on the engine block, directly under the #4 intake and a few inches infront (infront direction: towards the radiator) of the timing hole.

it makes some weird turns, from the throttle body it first starts heading towards the passenger side, directly under the cold start injector, then heads down under the intake runners.......makes an almost 90degree turn and kinda runs above & parallel w/ the metal tube that flows coolant to one of the heater core hoses.

hope that helps, i'll try to take some pictures tomorrow.

matt: springs, sweet! mine are going in this week, i hope.
